Scar Camouflage & Scar Revision Training
Scar Revision aka MicroNeedling or MCA

The body is a fantastic organ, after trauma it can repair and fix. Often this fast repair can leave skin in many different conditions. Scars are formed when the skin heals back together, sometimes these heal beautifully, however on many occasions the scars are quite raised, visible and unsightly.
​
Using our tattoo machines, derma pen devices and derma rollers we can help repair the skin. The controlled trauma caused to the area will send signals to the cells to repair and restore again. A slow but very effective process to help revise the scars appearance and feel.
​
Scar Camouflage - Tattooing​
​
When a scar or skin graft has no colour (from melanin loss) scar camouflage using tattoo pigments can help. In this training we will teach you how to use tattoo pigments to help mask and camouflage skin. Please note this is a last resort in scar treatments and only advisable for skin grafts or after scar revision has been attempted.

If you have already completed our 2 day beginner Areola training you will be able to add this Scar Revision and Scar Camouflage training course. This will require Pre-study and will then include one day hands on training at our clinic.

Schedule of Learning
In this course you will learn the highly sought after skill of Scar Revision & Scar Camouflage:
1 - How to improve the skin
2 - How to work on scar tissue
3 - How to conceal using tattoo camouflage
There will be pre-study and pre-practice required before you attend the in-house training. We have organised an online platform which all students will get access too. This online platform contains all the information needed for the training.

The training course will start at 9:30am and finish around 5:30pm, or when the students have finished.
​
Refreshments will be provided
​
You will watch live demonstrations and also have the opportunity to work on live models*.
​
Once you have completed your Online learning and also your 1 day Practical you will be required to submit 4 case studies for assessment. As soon as you have submitted your case studies you will receive your Certificate of Achievement.
​
In this course your will not be required to attend an additional assessment session, unless the trainer request you do this for further support.
